Multiple impulse Therapy (MIT)

Multiple Impulse Therapy (MIT) uses a force recording & analysis system to perform as an analysis and treatment modality. Precisely controlled, low force, multiple impulses are applied to provide a gentle joint mobilization. This unique computerized noninvasive fixation imaging system allows the practitioner to accurately and objectively locate and correct spinal joint fixations. The goal is to obtain a measure of the movement of each vertebra or segment of the spine under evaluation. This measure is obtained by applying a low energy impulse to each portion of the spine sequentially which than can be viewed on a computer screen. A simple and intuitive visually display shows doctor AND patient everything that is accomplished and learned in the treatment cycle.

Dr. Collins is a kind, caring person that looks out for the needs of his patients. He’s kept me from having surgery and eliminated my numbness, by using a gentle process that really works! So, if you’re looking for relief you have to give him a try!

I have been treated by Dr. Collins for the last 3 years. Previous to that I had been to at least 10 different doctors recommended by friends including pain shots and physical therapy with no success. When I met Dr. Collins I had to push myself off of a chair. After receiving treatments for the first 3 months on a regular basis and doing the exercises he gave me I now ride a bike 15 miles a day and play golf 3 times a week. I only see Dr. Collins on an as needed basis. I recommend him to anyone with back problems without hesitation.
